Poverty is the biggest predator of coffee communities and the environment.

World Coffee Producer Forum

The World Coffee Producers Forum is dedicated to fostering the prosperity of coffee farmers worldwide. By championing the interests and priorities of producers, the forum seeks to elevate their economic and social standing within the global coffee industry. Through collaborative efforts that involve all stakeholders along the coffee value chain, from farmers to exporters, roasters, consumers, governments and civil society, the forum aims to create a more equitable and sustainable coffee sector. By promoting cooperation and joint action, the World Coffee Producers Forum strives to ensure that the benefits of coffee production are fairly distributed and that farmers receive the support they need to thrive and prosper.

The World Coffee Producers Forum, through its global network of producers and producers’ associations in Africa, Asia and Latin America, operates on the values of solidarity and co-responsibility, recognizing that the challenges facing coffee farmers require collective action and shared accountability. By fostering a sense of solidarity among coffee producers and stakeholders, the forum aims to build a stronger, more resilient global coffee community. Through co-responsibility, members of the forum are committed to working together to address issues such as price volatility, climate change, and social inequality, ensuring a more sustainable and prosperous future for coffee farmers around the world.
