She is also a board member of the Alliance for Coffee Excellence and a member of the Rainforest Alliance Board of Directors since 2018 and was on the UTZ Supervisory Board before that since 2014. Previously, she was the executive director of the Brazil Specialty Coffee Association (BSCA) between 2007 and April 2022.
Nogueira is the daughter of a coffee producer and is an information technology engineer and business administrator with a PhD in marketing management. She has visited around 30 producing and consuming countries promoting coffee consumption and sustainability.
