Jack Leslie is Chairman of Weber Shandwick, a leading communications firm with more than 80 offices around the world. He has a long history as strategic counselor to corporate, government and philanthropic leaders faced with difficult communications challenges. Mr. Leslie is active in development and humanitarian causes, having chaired the boards of both USA for UNHCR (the UN Refugee Agency) and the Advisory Committee for Volunteer Foreign Assistance (USAID). He was appointed by President Obama and confirmed by the US Senate as Chairman of the US African Development Foundation. He serves on the boards of the Duke Global Health Institute, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, the Ron Brown Scholarship Fund and Water.org. Mr. Leslie worked as an aide to Senator Edward M. Kennedy and began his communications career as a political media consultant, becoming President of Sawyer Miller Group in 1986. Mr. Leslie graduated from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
